I don’t know… I used to be a one project knitter & then I contracted a case of “start-itis”. It doesn’t seem to be working for me, as the project that I work on the least falls to the bottom of the pile, gets “stale” & often ends up the frog pond. I think momentum is important for me to stick with a project. Your projects all look beautiful, though. I want to learn to crochet better!

I agree with Lisa. To me, it’s like chocolate (amongst other things hee hee). I like to have a broad selection from which to satisfy my daily whim. As long as nobody is getting hurt, I see nothing wrong with satisfying our desires *giggle*! By the way, your sweater is looking particularly beautiful

The crocheted cushion looks very appealing. I have not been crocheting in more years than I dare to remember, but the cushion is so inviting, I need to try it again, as soon as I get tired of my knitting, I think I am on number 60 or something like that.

Like others have said, I usually have a sock on the go for mindless knitting and then something else. I often don’t like swatching or starting a new project, so I’ll often do that towards the end of the current project to give me time to plan…

I always do weave them in as I go (or even better I knit them in) and I have crocheted down the ends for this, too, but the ones at the centre of the yellow invisible loop and the ones left when finishing the outsides of the hexagon seem impossible to do. That’s 2 unsecured ends out of 8, but over 48 hexagons, that makes 96 ends (still better than the 384 ends it would have been if I hadn’t secured any, I suppose!)

LOL I’m right there with Mooncalf – I like to have 3 or 4 on the go, usually, easy stuff for when the kids are round being rackety, and more challenging stuff for when they are in bed !
My ploy for weaving in ends is to do them as I go, per piece/section – this way it never gets overwhelming …;)

I usually have a couple of garment-sized projects on the go, especially if I’m working on something that can require care and attention because then I need an easy peasy project as I do most of my knitting in front of tv/movies/games. I always have my bus-sock on the go now too. If I have more than about 4 I feel stressed and anxious and have to knit knit knit like the wind to get back to my comfort zone. It is a careful balance…
