You are a woman after my own heart. The first day the temp gets above 80, I'm moaning and complaining and whining, "Is it October yet? When can it be October?"

Lovely cowl. Can't wait till it's cold enough for you to enjoy it.

I'm so totally with you about the hot weather. YUCK! I think I would enjoy it in Alaska. People always look at me like I'm crazy when I saw it, too. I'm also VERY pale and burn super easily so it's not like I can even be out enjoy the "Fun in the sun", ya know?

Give me a cold, blustery, rainy day ANY time and I'm a happy camper. :)

I'm with you in liking winter better. There is only so much you can do to cool down. And winter food is delicious!
The twisted rib looks wonderful!

"You can always put more layers of warmth on, but levels of nakedness are definitely finite. And there are laws against that kind of thing."

See, I'm the opposite. I'd rather be hot than cold. I can only add so many layers until I can't move and I'd still be cold. I'm already working on a ripple blanket for winter. Made with red heart. Hopefully that will keep me warm enough. :scarf:

Twisted ribbing is beautiful - like tiny little braids.

And I think one should always seize the opportunity to twist your rib in the round as when worked flat it involves many many ptbls which are satan's stitches.
